Exhibition: "The World of Molecular Biology"

Having the opportunity to engage with science and technology as part of an exhibition project was a first, but a very exciting experience during my time at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). The project "The World of Molecular Biology" is the institution´s first permanent exhibition that through a series of interactive exhibits, invites visitors to explore the basics of fundamental research and learn the role of EMBL´s scientists within.

As Exhibition Manager (and prior, as Exhibition Tour Designer) I worked on the guided tour material encompassing the entire field of molecular biology, and designed four thematic tours that invite visitors to take specific journeys along the projects displayed (Cancer, Evolution, Big Data and finally, Science & Society). Along with working closely with EMBL scientists, I collaborated with companies such as Yipp for the design and software of the projects or the Hub for the installation choices on site.
